He is the co-author of an Amazon #1 best seller "Nine Leaders in Action." He has served as an executive consultant for 20+ health systems, led a venture fund, and spoken at major conferences around the world on new venture models, investment theses, practical leadership, corporate strategy, and building differentiated digital health products.
Brian Van Winkle has been an executive, author, strategist and thought leader in the digital health space for over 15 years, leading some of the largest and most renowned organizations through the digital health "revolution”. He has built innovation centers, investment arms, and digital health strategies for companies of all sizes, from seed funded start-ups to the most prestigious academic center in the world. He is also a first responder on the Breckenridge Ski Patrol.
Sara is a digital healthcare expert with a background in health informatics and user-centered design. She has experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and contributing to successful NIH grant proposals. Her research focuses on improving the experience of patients and clinicians through the design of digital health tools. She has served as Director of Research at HITLAB, Assistant Professor at NYU Langone, and a strategist for various clients in the healthcare industry. She holds a Doctorate in Public Health from Columbia University and is an advocate for patient- and family-centered care.
Ukeme is a medical doctor operating at the intersection of population research, digital health, and business strategy. She received her clinical training at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, and her training in public health, and health finance, human-centered design & management at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to being an innovation consultant, she is the founder of The Beta Collective, an incubator for solving grand challenges in African communities globally.
Marge Bilokin is a healthcare research analyst focused on innovative digital health solutions. She is a recent graduate of Duke University with a B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology, and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She is passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare. She has volunteered for multiple organizations dedicated to promoting education among youth and addressing social determinants of health. In addition to her healthcare career, she was a Division I tennis player and competed at professional tournaments.
Asmita is a healthcare operations expert with a career focused on simplifying healthcare operations and removing administrative and financial hurdles for providers. She has experience in overseeing the development, implementation, and scaling of clinical operations transformation projects to achieve better patient population management and performance optimization for organizations’ financial health. Bill is an biostatistics expert with over 21 years of experience. He has worked as lead statistician for the design and analysis of the PARTNER 1A and 1B trials, the first two randomized transcatheter aortic valve trials, both of which resulted in PMA approval. He has also served as lead statistician for the initial design of later PARTNER trials and three other transcatheter valve trials. Bill has experience in statistical design for the UNLOAD trial which was one of the first trials to use the Finkelstein-Schoenfeld hierarchal analysis. He has also served as Interim Senior Director, Biostatistics and Clinical Database at Edwards Lifesciences and has designed and delivered statistics and clinical trial design training courses.
Dr. Rosner is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where he conducts digital health research and serves on the Digital Diagnostics and Therapeutics Committee. Prior to his role at USCF, Dr. Rosner was the CMIO of a leading digital health company. He has worked closely with CMS and was the lead author on a MIPS Improvement Activity which gives healthcare organizations credit to empower their patients with remote digital guidance and monitoring.
Dr. Auerbach is a Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and is the Chief of the Clinical Content Oversight COmmittee for UCSF Health. Dr. Auerbach is a widely recognized leader in Hospital Medicine, a prolific researcher, and serves as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Hospital Medicine. He is the founder of the Accelerated Digital Clinical Ecosystem (ADviCE) Network.
