Bill is an biostatistics expert with over 21 years of experience. He has worked as lead statistician for the design and analysis of the PARTNER 1A and 1B trials, the first two randomized transcatheter aortic valve trials, both of which resulted in PMA approval. He has also served as lead statistician for the initial design of later PARTNER trials and three other transcatheter valve trials. Bill has experience in statistical design for the UNLOAD trial which was one of the first trials to use the Finkelstein-Schoenfeld hierarchal analysis. He has also served as Interim Senior Director, Biostatistics and Clinical Database at Edwards Lifesciences and has designed and delivered statistics and clinical trial design training courses.
